February Winner of the 1999 World Series Contest

I actually submitted a story to this website and it is in archives and entitled "Everybody Thanks Brandon." I am attaching it below, but as a follow-up I wanted to share that Brandon gave me his Paul O’Neill autographed ball after I graduated from college this past May. This act of generosity meant and continues to mean so much to me. He is such a selfless young man who has dedicated a lot of time to helping individuals with disabilities. He developed a fundraiser as his mitzvah project for his bar mitzvah that combined two of his passions: baseball and raising money for autism research. Our youngest brother, Jordan, who has autism, continues to inspire us each and every day. Jordan will have his bar mitzvah this May and I look forward to helping him develop and participate in a mitzvah project so that he too can give back to the community. Now it is my turn to give something back to both Brandon and Jordan to say thank you.
